I left mine blank. Ordered 5/15 and got the VIN 6/1. My delivery is set for 6/19 and a few days ago I started getting email reminders to upload my insurance. Once I did upload it yesterday, the payment portal opened up within 1-2 minutes. Hope this helps.

Haven’t really considered payment until now; so does a Tesla charge the moment we enter finance info or store info until delivery day to be charged then? Anyone have experience with that yet?

The loan doesn’t start until delivery. They pulled my down payment via plaid on 6/3 and I picked up 6/5.

I submitted my info for my down payment (including all the fees and first monthly payment) on 6/4. My delivery appointment isn't until 6/16 but my car is supposed to arrive at the SC on 6/12. They took my down payment immediately even though I have yet to lay eyes on my car. However, the next payment isn't due until 30 days from my delivery date.

It's my lucky day!! Woke up this morning to do the first of my normal MANY refreshes per day ... and there it was ... accept Tesla Vision agreement and now I have a VIN!! EDD is now 6/21-6/27 and my VIN ends in 988XXX. So excited and works out perfect as I am out on vacation all next week so will help the time pass and when I get back it will be delivery time! Hang in there everyone ... the day is coming for us all.
