I promised to post some "after" pics after getting car back from tint, PPF, and ceramic. NC can only go to 35% without issues at inspection. Jarrell at Royale Auto in Apex did a great job. Had the front wrapped in PPF and whole thing ceramic coated. You really can't tell the difference between paint and PPF under the ceramic.

Got an actual edd again of august 30-September 19. An advisor I talked to said I looked on track for mid august unless there’s a delay, then late august. Said I can trust her tool more than my account edd. We will see how that pans out, but wish my account edd would show that.

For those who financed, when do you wire the down payment ?

Once you have a VIN assigned and schedule the delivery you will get the option to pay online. You can also pay with a check the day of but you may want to confirm with your specific service center if you go that route.

My EDD blanked out yesterday. Order date was 6/19. Before it blanked out, it was 8/15-9/2. Today it came back and is showing an EDD of 8/21-9/10. My order is for LR white exterior, black interior, aero wheels, and no FSD in NJ.

Same exact order in NJ placed on 7/9 - No EDD yet

Hi All - I ordered an M3LR on 6/15, was originally told August at the latest for delivery. I had July delivery dates showing for a bit and followed up with my sales rep, she let me know that it looked like a July delivery was going to happen... A week later I was told September and now on my Tesla account, my delivery dates have completely disappeared. Has anyone had a similar situation? Has anyone that placed an order in May/June received a car yet???

Yeah I wish there was some rhyme or reason behind their decision making and production. I do feel bad about being ahead of some people.

Did you do the entire rear window? I'm on the fence about partial or whole thing since I don't really want to darker the top glass.

There were some issues with getting the right piece for the rear window so I did not include this for now. Since as you pointed out there already is a significant amount of tint on most of this glass it really doesn't need it IMO.

6/16 order date for me, no vin. Make sure you complete the prepare for delivery tasks (and get a check mark there). I didn’t do this until yesterday and can’t help but feeling I got passed up because of it.

Ordered 7/5, LR, white/black/18" wheels. Originally 7-10 weeks, then was Sept. 20-30 for about two weeks, now no date or range of dates. I did the help chat on the website and they weren't particularly helpful.

Thought Id chime in on this. I did the entire rear window on my previous model 3 and am very happy that I did. I've seen one with a partial rear tint and I did not like the looks of it at all. Plan to do the entire rear on my new car too. Though will be going lighter this time. 35% instead of 30%.

Good to know. I want to do 35% on the sides and back. I've seen it on other models and it looks so good.
