Anyone experience the following: When given the option for pickup of my M3LR, I had the option to select a service center to pick up or home delivery. I went with service center pick up - just in case there were major issues with the car's panels/paint/etc + I live in a condominium with no street parking/public parking. It even showed up as SC Pickup in my tesla account until this morning.
I had this scheduled for 9/22 and then received a text and email this morning for HOME delivery?!

Call your SA. Mine told me the day it was scheduled to arrive (26th) at their delivery center and that put my mind at ease. When I got the pickup text for the 27th, well….
Probably M3 will get some updates or even already get it and they want to keep demo cars up to date?!
In my experience it's been "don't call us, and we won't call you."
Mine changed this morning to 9/22-9/30 as well. In the Sacramento area. I would feel better if that 9/30 date would move back, but I'll take it.

Sad. Another update, and the ping pong continues. I really wanted that 10 day window.
- Order date: July 28
- Initial EDD: November
- (9 days later) August 6th EDD updated to Sept 7 - Sept 30
- (12 days later) August 18th EDD updated to Sept 14 - Sept 30
- (20 days later) September 6th - EDD updated to October 06 - November 05
- (11 days later) September 17th - EDD updated to September 19 - September 29
- (3 days later) - Today - EDD updated to October 10 - October 30
I have a feeling us Nothern California guys will get in on the 29 or 30th, they'll send the cars to people they think the delivery trucks can reach and hold back inventory to deliver us last minute to boost the 3rd quarter delivery numbers.

I placed my order for a Model 3 LR on 9/17. After filling in my final info, it states delivery estimate of 11/21 - 12/21.

I decided to create an internal race and ordered a black / white one a week after I ordered the white / white one. I am fine with either and was just curious which one would arrive first. As of today, the white / white order is middle of October. Black / white is still showing 12/2-12/20.

Yes. I realize it is a waste of $250, but I was curious to see how they progress.....and i couldn't really make up my mind either.
