Also anyone in here leasing?
I entertained the idea of leasing at first and then quickly abandoned the thought. Tesla knows what their cars are worth and the demand for them and they are purposely undervaluing them...by a lot. When I reviewed the purchase agreement and saw the money factor and payments I feel like they want wayyyyyyyy too much. You're paying more than half the price of the car AND you have to give it back! I can get a lease on a bmw that costs more with a way lower residual for less... something ain't stirring the koolaid man. Finance (for me at least) is less then a hundred dollars more than a lease...I have never lol. I'm getting rid of it in 3 years any way so I'd rather get the positive equity that it's guaranteed to have, not Tesla while Elon tries to realize his pipe dream of an idea in robo-taxis...🙄

Out of curiosity, where exactly in your account would one look to see if “complete profile” is checked?
Sure…so in your account, you will see under the photo of your car (once you pull up the actual order, so go into the manage order section…)..anyway, you will see the word “overview” and next to it is an “i” with a circle around it. Click on the “i” and it will bring up a sort of checklist with 4 items. Make sure the “prepare for delivery” is checked.

Ok, that’s what I thought you had meant. Looks like I’m all good for that step.

Thanks!!

Here’s something I was unaware of. I’m in Ohio so this directly impacts me, but I assume other states do something similar. Because I will no longer be paying the state “gas tax” that is built into the pump price, I now get hit with increased annual registration fees. $200/year for a plug-in electric. I guess it makes sense since I still use the pot-hole filled roads and highways around here, but I had not heard much talk about this.

It is Day 2 of my 14 day window and estimated delivery moved again
BUT now a shorter window
I have a good feeling about this!

Wait... are you sure about this? This is what my screen looks like and all my tasks are complete other than the trade in pending:

I had exactly the same window 3/4-3/18 and today it moved to 3/8-3/18 (10 days). I also had a good feeling about it (fingers crossed).
Btw my delivery will be in Sunnyvale, CA

I guess I’ll sit back and kick my feet up here with everyone else.

M3LR AWD White/Black Interior/18" Aero

OD: 2/26
1st EDD: (2/26) May 2022
2nd EDD (2/27): May 13-June 10

REALLY hoping it’s a litter sooner that that though. *fingers crossed*

Never has so little meant so much to so few. After months of 30-day EDD's, I got my first narrow window, 3/15-3/28. After I came to my senses, I returned to the reality that this may or may not mean a delivery, or even a VIN, is imminent. Those of us in the end-of-the-quarter-club support group, join hands, take a deep breath, the time draws nigh.

Illinois proposed a $1,000/year fee on electric vehicles a few years ago… they eventually settled on $248.

I presume that is why my AFV tag was more when we swapped out regular tag we received. I'm ok with it although taxes are too high and not always used as intended we are using the roads. Also since the AFV tag allows me to use PeachPass for Free and 1 person HOV...its a good deal for us.
