Cali here, Ordered on 10/6 SR+ white/black 18”, reaching the 4 wk mark, got an email from advisor saying “ we are awaiting North American builds which should be ready in November. We are very excited to deliver your car as soon as it becomes available.” This may mean end of nov deliveries or December.....I’m glad the advisor is excited tho! The struggle is real

Was jumping into a Lyft to head home from work and the delivery specialist returned my call from earlier in the day. She had mentioned when we talked earlier in the week that my model 3 AWD White/White that I ordered on 10/4 was scheduled to arrive this weekend so would be ready for sure on Monday maybe earlier so I was hoping she'd give me good news and I could pickup sooner. Much to my excitement she said the car was arriving tomorrow and depending on when and how the inspections go it may be late tomorrow but definitely on Saturday afternoon.

We end the conversation as my Lyft driver merges on to the interstate just north of downtown Chicago (the Edens), I look ahead through the snow and traffic and I spot a car transport truck loaded with cars. As we get closer I get excited since the large panoramic window of the cars makes me think it could be loaded Tesla's, specifically MY Model 3 on it's way to the sales office about 15 miles north right off this interstate!!!! What are the chances?????

Think there 10 cars on the truck 8 white, 1 black and 1 blue or black. Most the white cars had the upgraded wheels but two had Aero wheels which is what I ordered. One of the two with Aero wheels didn't have the covers on it which seemed odd. Probably popped off in transport?

Guessing the delivery Specialist was hedging the delivery estimate by a day since they will have 10 people very anxious to receive their cars or they are arriving earlier than expected.

Sent the photo via email to the delivery specialist....will be interested to hear if it was indeed my car on the truck! Hoping that tomorrow will be my delivery day! Sooooo tempted to jump in another Lyft, say Trick or Treat to my delivery person while I camp out until they give me my car. ;)

Guessing there will be 10 very happy people who've waited around a month or more for their car on the Northshore of Chicago this weekend. Glad I got the AWD as it's snowing like it's January and the poor kids will have a cold wet Halloween.

Where in Cali will be your pick up location? Mine will be at Costa Mesa, I ordered the same configuration as you, but on 10/01.

Hi Y'all.

First post here, sorry if I get the lingo wrong. For the record, I ordered my Model 3 Performance on October 27th. It'll be Deep Blue Metallic with White interior, and Full Self Driving.

I'm also trading in my mint condition, car show winning 2017 Corvette Z06 (LZ1 with 7 speed manual) which only had 6,000 miles on it. Tesla is giving me a fair amount for it, and in New York with the tax savings it's a very fair amount (probably a tiny bit less than I'd get private sale, but without all the headache). On my "Manage" page, the Trade-in says that the "Valuation is in progress", and I still owe money on that car so I expect this will not be the simplest thing in the world, but hopefully still easier than dealing with private buyers. All the other items on that page have a check mark (Delivery Location, Registration, and Payment Method - I'll be financing with Tesla, and looks like they chose Wells Fargo).

Delivery Location is Mt. Kisco NY even though I'm physically closer to a service area in New Jersey. Other than my order confirmed e-mail, I've received no communication from Tesla (yet). Web site said / says 7-9 weeks from order date is when I can expect delivery. 7 weeks would be Dec 15, 9 weeks would be Dec 29. Fingers crossed I'll take delivery in 2019 so I can get the tax credit. I'm quite excited to join this community!

Cheers!

Hey guys i ordered on17/09. I've already spent 2k dollars in accesories for my car....lol. i ordered a P3D white with black int. No FSD. Im in Montreal, Qc. I cant wait to get into that car!! Good luck to all of us hopefully we grt it before the snow start over here.

Ordered a P3D in Montreal on October 10th. Delivery advisor called a couple of days later to say I should ignore the 2-3 week delivery estimate on the website as they are currently building cars for other markets (outside of North America) and will most likely start production for us in the 1st or second week of a November. They say I should expect a delivery sometime in early December.

Ordered the blue, white interior, standard autopilot. Like you, already spent $$ on items for the car: Winter tire/wheel/TPMS package, jack pad, mud flaps, Tesla all weather floor liners, trunk liner, screen protector, 90 degree charge cable for phone. Contemplating a center console carbon fiber style liner to avoid the finger smudges and scratches on the high gloss black mirror finish.

Have everything I need....just missing the car.

We pretty much bought all the same things. What wheels did you end up getting? I got the Fast EV01+ wheels with xice 3 tires. Are you getting your car ppf'ed?

I went with the Fast R197 and Michelin X-ICE 235/45R18. Was thinking about PPF for the front bumper and hood only. I did it myself on my last car (Chevy Volt) by ordering the precut wrap and following the instructions and videos and was happy with the results but that was in the summer, in a warm dust free garage, and taking an abundance of time to do it properly with a helper. I won't be doing it myself this time around and haven't really looked into finding a place good ratings/recommendations at a fair price for the work.

I am also new here. Long Island, New York.
Placed my order on 10/31 for a white performance model, black interior, no FSD.
I will have a trade-in BMW, but the whole process feels backwards because I don't know how much they are going to offer for it. I hope there is no lowballing with Tesla. If the numbers don't add up, I don't mind walking away (and burn the $100 order fee).
I have tons of technical questions - will ask them in the appropriate threads. Nice to meet you all!
