Ordered January 12th (PHX AZ). Text message says 3 - 7 weeks. I don’t understand how later orders on the same vehicle got a shorter timeline.

I ordered the same package on the 17th, also in Phx. Keep me updated if you get updates. We'll likely be getting them around the same time.

Congrats! Seems like way more people in the US/east coast are starting to get dates... hopefully that's good news for people in Central US later this week then.

There's a stipulation though. I'm part of the statistic too. I am a male and bought a model 3. But it's for the wife. Around me, there seems to be more women driving Tesla's. At the supercharging station near my house it's usually like 6-8 women and like 1-3 dudes.

I was at 5 weeks from order and I got the text saying 4-8 week wait time.
SR+, MSM, standard wheel, no FSD

I ordered a Blue/Black P3+, no FSD, on Jan 17, 2020. At the time, the estimate was 8-10 weeks. Received a text last week saying 5-10 weeks. Hope what my Tesla sales rep said holds true, that the cars go East first, then make their way west.

fyi a couple of long range dual motors with VIN of 669xxx were listed today. (tyson’s corner virginia) good sign that they are shipping out newly produced cars to at least the east coast now

A couple of notes that might be of interest to those waiting here. First, my LR AWD was manufactured on 1/20. I was notified and received the VIN on Jan 24th and received the car on the 27th. I have had it exactly one week and, so far, I have not found any flaws in fit, finish, or function. None.

Also, you will find that it really is worth the wait. It isn't just fanboy bullshit. While everything isn't perfect (there is room for improvement), it is damn good.

There were three SR+ in the Chicago area yesterday — two of them on a train in the BNSF Elwood Logistics Park south of Joliet. Those are gone, only one car in Westmont now. 2020 Model 3 | Tesla

So, SR+ are being produced.

Scheduled for first available day which was Friday.
