Is it possible to get homelink installed before taking delivery? Or is that something that has to be done after?

Listen to your blind optimism... 'take delivery'... psshhtt... it's never happening... we'll never get these things...@#$%@#$^#.

Sidebar, afaik, it needs to be a follow up appointment being as you can refuse the car at delivery.

I was wondering the same thing. I'm going to bring my homelink in the unopened box (haha) to my delivery day and see if they could do it. If not I'll just schedule it in the app.

I've had my home link for about a month now sitting around. I did ask my SA about trying to schedule it for delivery day and she said there's really no way for them to do it. Can't hurt to try.

let me clarify this. They said they have to deliver the car "as ordered" so in terms of getting it installed before you take delivery I was told that that's a hard no.

trying to schedule your installation for delivery day might be doable but I don't know.

I just want to take delivery at some point I'll worry about the homelink later. It's a quick install and they come to your house to do it so it's very much not a big deal.

Ordered my White M3P in NJ on Nov 30. Originally got a delivery timeframe of Dec 10-31. Now it's moved back a bit to 13-31. Really concerned about picking up the car while it's running on summer tires. I was looking to order 19" rims and winter tires from Tirerack but they apparently don't have the new BT TPMS and they can't guarantee any of their 19" rims will fit on the 2021 M3Ps. I'm going to have to get the wheels and TPMS separately and have them mounted and balanced. I just have to hope that the weather the day of pick up is warm so I can take the car back safely so I can swap them out.

I'm in the same boat. Mp3 to NJ, so I ordered these wheels and these tires. I had installed some aftermarket tpms sensors before I learned about the bluetooth sensors, so I'll have to get them from tesla when I pick up the car. Total cost was about 1500.

Oh hell no. Although I don’t think many people who ordered mid to late November have. I keep hearing from Tesla SA that it will be EoY definitely but it’s hard to believe that at this rate.

You are the first one so far I’ve seen or heard of that has been VIN matched with a Rockville delivery. Maybe mine will be in there as well. I ordered on the 10/22
