Mine too, noticed it yesterday - this is the second time for me it's been pushed back to August. Twice it's been on mid to end of June.

I suspect there are a few cars that are right on the line of this manufacturing cycle and of the next and so may have fallen across the line now.

Basically, I've had a really tempting offer from Tesla (nearly £50k (only paid just ov er this thanks to gov grant and cheaper prices at the time) for my M3LR (March '21) and am thinking of 'upgrading' to the M3P. The build quality of my MIC isn't too bad but I'm a little confused about the origin of a new M3P, so.....
A) If I were to order one, are the current deliveries for UK M3Ps coming from China or Fremont? - and
B) Apart from the new CPU is there anything else that the newer cars have? (I have the heat pump and heated wheel in my current M3LR)

MIC. 3 and Y cars for UK do not come from Fremont.

Newer cars also have a newer motor (hairpin wound) and I believe the Performance models have always had a higher performance rear motor than LR.

• Adding the wire wrap version of the rear DU to SR LFP + M3
• Addition of M3 Perf M50 Hairpin Winding DU variant
• Addition of the assembly plant Gigafactory 4 (Berlin-Brandenburg)
• Add cargo mass to model Y
• Adding Perf Brake Pads from European Sources (Model Y)
• Adding a New Version of Performance Brake Discs (Model Y)
• Adding Updated Perf Brake Pad Friction Material (Model 3)
• Update the user interface (new format based on updated Model S / X)
• Addition of the LG M50 (SL) battery variant for the M3 Performance
• Adding a vision / camera system for M3 AutoPark function
• Add a VIN number for the DU current

Above is a copy and paste of the 2022 changes, some are for Y only, but I don't think your guaranteed all of them it depends on stock of parts etc. i.e. I still haven't heard of any Model 3's with laminated rear glass yet.

I dont know whats going on - but I was offered a crazy amount for my 2020 M3P, so I took the offer and got a M3P 2022 instead

Performance is the same. Same 0-60 and same 1/4 mile time.

That’s because that config doesn’t physically exist yet. No one has a M3P with a 5L. I think it is likely a Berlin thing as they have the LGChem battery facility supplying that factory. Shanghai doesn’t.
