had a couple of decent quotes, about £380-420 from Churchill & Direct Line. I used the comparison websites firstly, then went on that particular company's website where you'll get it cheaper as they won't have to pay the comparison website for their part in it. Tried Direct Line direct (you see what i did there ) and they're good too. Not got reg number yet though and they're both "held" for me until I can get number and I can also confirm with them that it's an M3RWD and not a standard range plus which they all seem to offerHas anyone else awaiting delivery organised insurance yet or is this only possible on delivery day?
I have tried to do comparisons via Gocompare but the car reg doesn't exist on the websites yet.
I also noticed that the comparison sites don't have RWD on them....

i text them today to try and sort insurance out. They said 1-2 weeks prior to collection dateNot had my reg yet. Anyone know roughly when you get this?
I done the same. Ring them and they can manually add it to your accountJust got an email today requesting Payment
Out of interest i accidently sent a test payment ( £10 ) without my RN number as a reference . I know its only £10, but who do i contact about getting this back or assigned to my car invoice . I noticed the error of my ways once i had sent it .
Yes, white black Aeros is exactly what I orderedCongratulations, I am guessing it’s not a white, black, aeros spec?
Essex! I have used Direct Line for years. They are a very good company to deal with.Where do you live? an island with no cars? That’s a cracking price.
I found Direct Line to be at least a couple of hundred pounds dearer. Comprehensive plus with Churchill £458. Thought I’d got an amazing price. Fair play mate.Essex! I have used Direct Line for years. They are a very good company to deal with.
Yes, ordered October, Deep Metallic blue, 18s black/black. Delivery 15 dec. I chose a colour other than white because I was told there was a longer lead time on white by the fleet company.Has anyone who ordered a base RWD in April or later had a delivery scheduled yet? My company ordered me one via a lease company around July/August and I have just had an updated collection date of 29th November.Has anyone who ordered a base RWD in April or later had a delivery scheduled yet? I was hoping to hear on Friday or Today but unfortunately nothing yet
i'm the same. I'm waiting for a call back to confirm they'll accept SR+ as a RWD.........until the reg number confirms it on collection dayHi, i bought insurance through Churchill for my rwd im collecting on 3rd Dec. I select standard range plus as that was the only drop down available, is that ok or do i need to call them and check thats ok for RWD? Thanks
I have been reassured by Tesla and Churchill that they will accept it. The RWD has been on the road for nearly 1 years now, and clearly many are insured with Churchill/Directline etc.i'm the same. I've just finished a call with Churchill. They initially wouldn't insure a RWD under the cover of a SR+. This was confirmed by the manager. I've since had a call that they have added notes to my quote to the effect that SR+ is the old RWD and when I receive my reg, they'll add it to the quote, albeit, the reg won't be with DVLA until collection day. They said I'd be covered. A bit complexed, but I'm glad they've noted it on file. Very much worth the call to themI have been reassured by Tesla and Churchill that they will accept it.
