Personally I wouldnt transfer any money until I've been allocated a car. They could end up having your money for 6+months and I imagine it'd be a nightmare trying to get it back
You don't need to pay until 7 days before delivery/collection.
I wouldn't make a payment until its confirmed you are matched with a VIN. I think someone in the order thread had the same thing as you, might have been a bug, and it sounded like they were having a hard time getting it refunded.

No change in mine. If a ships sailing mid July then hopefully we might see some vins towards the end? After that the model 3 production is down for 3 weeks so I imagine it'll be a while before we see any more.
No changes for me, finding hard to believe there will be any M3 RWD deliveries for the UK in Q3.
Theyll have to catch up eventually especially seeing as they're estimating most new orders from now to be delivered in Q1 2023
Not a chance new orders will arrive Q1 2023, they'll get there EDD moved back several times like all of us.
Yeah they're either really underestimating the EDD to not put off people making orders, or they're hoping the upgrades help them catch up with the backlog
I would go for the former
I’m actually surprised they haven’t stopped taking more orders for RWD. It’s what Elon had suggested he might do in the future if the back log builds up to unsustainable levels.
Other manufacturers have done this (including Land Rover for some of the Range Rover specs)

I think mine was around 4-5 months. I didn't get a notification or anything, when I logged in it had just disappeared. Even though they've told me it won't affect my delivery date I'm still a bit worried!
So they told me the same thing when my finance (Tesla Loan) expired. It expired 120 days after. They told me it would auto reapply in the background but this was not the case.
