Crying here. My EDD just changed from Q4 2022 to Q1 2023.

Hang tight these EDD’s are about as reliable as a chocolate tea pot

I have had about 5 or 6 different date changes… they are subject to change on a fairly regular basis

One thing does seem certain though, there are no M3 RWDs arriving any time soon.

I'm not even sure there will be any of ships that arrive in Q3 by the looks of the M3 RWD EDDs knocking about. Looks like Q4 onwards.

There are RWD orders out there with an EDD of august - September, judging by that there will be RWD sent in Q3… let’s all just hope they are brought forward. Looking by the VIN rollout over the last day or two, people are going from October EDD to suddenly getting a VIN and June delivery date. So anything is possible

There is no reason for the factory not to produce RWDs for Q3. The current quarter has seen lower production so yes, there is a backlog. RWD is the biggest seller so one must assume some will be produced.

Not in the UK it isn’t. LR outsells it on average 2:1, sometimes 4:1 in certain quarters when Tesla constrain the SR+/RWD.

At some point they will need to clear the backlog… or they may stop taking orders for them all together (which Elon has hinted might happen with all Tesla specs).

Like to echo your point - judging from my own EDD (in signature) and a few others floating around on the forum in recent days, I'd like to believe there will be a shipment with at least some RWD in Q3

Absolutely, I think their usual delivery of last month of each Q3 might be thrown out of the winodw

Just had an update from Octopus, saying they've been advised by Tesla that my RWD is due to arrive in September. Hopefully this means that some will be arriving in Q3..

Yesterday I also received a text confirming Aug to Oct, and today my EDD has moved out to Nov 25 to Jan 9 in my account…

Haven’t had any texts or emails yet trying to tempt me to order a used Model 3, but my EDD has moved (just checked the app after reading recent comments here).

Was Sept 26-Nov 10th, now Nov 13-Dec 28.

I get the impression Octopus just provide the last day of the next quarter and hope for the best.

That wouldn’t surprise me, surely the demand is outstripping supply already and that’s only going to get deeper in at this rate!
