I'm not too off on the fender cams. It would be nice if they didn't have that modeled grey looking surround. I wonder if silver to the edge would interfere with its imaging. I'm surprised that the rear cam looks to be the same position as ours. If it is also wide angle, I would think that would take a lot off processing to convert that to actual distance. I hope the b-pillar cams look better in production. They really seem to bug me for some reason.

All new AP 2.0 car does not have AP turned on. They told me that it does not even have cruise on and that is expected to be turned ON in december. So its just like a regular car now without any cruise or anything.
Hopefully they at least get TACC enabled sometime in December. I have a 1000+ mile roundtrip roadtrip planned for the holidays and would hate to have to actually keep my foot on the accelerator for the entire drive. I remember having to do that back in 1995 when I first moved to Colorado and it was not fun!

Were the front fender cameras the same size as the the current turn signal "emblem" for AP1 cars? Did the fender look like it was different itself? I'm curious if the camera assembly is just a drop in replacement or if one tried to retrofit these if they would need a new fender too.

Thanks,

Chris
