If they are still making it, I am definitely buying one for my nephew. I had a battery powered Stutz BearCat (tells you how old I am!) when I was about five and I honestly think that is what made me such a car fanatic. I still remember it as clear as day. My dad worked for a battery company and would bring home these giant 12V honkers that powered it. I'd burn through them in a day. That was WAY before rechargeables.

just ordered one for my son! also bummed they don't have black to match mine. I wonder if I should have gotten red or blue instead of grey ....

anyway, i'm kind of astounded that they guaranteed it'd be here by Christmas with standard shipping at this late date.

Same here, I wanted black as well but the grey is nice in person.
