Model Y—Hidden Paint Cracks on Boot (A Fairly Common Issue )

Has anyone had the same issue with paint cracks by the rear brake lights and had the issue fixed in the UK? How did they fix?

By the looks, it's a fairly common issue with White Model Y's. Looking at USA forums, the SC either splodges seam sealer with a thumb across the crack, leaving it unpainted, or resprays the whole boot lid.

I don't know which I would prefer to be honest

1. Unpainted seam sealer
2. Boot respray
3. Left alone

Rear hatch weld issue

I found these cracks on the rear hatch. Is this going to be a problem or just cosmetic? It’s on both sides.

I assume you are not saying you have this?
Although the design will be the sam/ similar that is a US thread so those cars would have been from the Original Fremont factory probably. The MiC ones may be better made

Can't see why it would only affect white though unless it is just a paint issue rather than a structural one?
