Model Y door hinge paint failure

Hi everyone,

I recently found out that the rear door hinge on my MY has paint failures. Looks like the paint is falling apart from the metal and there are some rusting. What should I do, can the service center fix this problem? This is unacceptable, the paint should not come off if they were properly painted at the factory.

Thanks,

It looks like someone tried to adjust your hinge (unscrew/screw the bolt and hit the hinge with metal hammer damaging the paint, most likely from the service/delivery center or factory.
Hi, thanks for the reply! Yes, I think this should be the reason. The paint on the car's body frame was also damaged (if you take a closer look you will see)). Should I worry about rusting issue? Anyway, I will talk to the Tesla service center and ask them to fix it
