Is there an easy location to attach the wiring harness/ pre-wired for it?

I’m using a 3rd party harness. I know Tesla will have one available in the future but the question is will they “enable” it to work? (This way I don’t have to worry about that)

Hey there.

Can you snap a picture of the TPMS SENSOR Module, and possibly the end of the harness/module?

It's there along with the hitch wire harness.

Very nicely done! Just make sure the trailers you pull have LED lights and you should be good to go. I also like their new design that lifts the receiver box higher off the ground for better clearance. I may retrofit this to my S's now that they make them.

Just did it today. It was pretty easy, I didn’t have any issues like I saw on a few YouTube videos. Overall took about 2.5 hours for me to install.

OP: Have you found a solution for the hitch cover? I really don’t like the one included in the EcoHitch. I wonder how Tesla does it for their OEM one.

I just broke a bunch of tabs off so it's easier to take on and off.

Anyone on the forum know if the North Shore bike racks will work on this ecohitch? The way it folds up and the way the receiver is sunk into the car to be "hidden".... curious

Let us know if Trailer mode is unlocked as part of the install. I like the idea of the factory hitch, but $900 more than the eco hitch would cost me to install is a bit steep just to use with a bike rack.

Thus far, Tesla is scheduling me for mobile install of the tow package...yeah, the $1200 is a little more than factory cost of $1000, so I'm going to mention that to them to see if they will budge....lol....
