Model Y Hole in Hood under the Badge

FYI, for those wanting to de-badge, there is a hole on the hood under the Tesla T badge.

Thanks for the heads up. They figured it was a whole lot easier alignment the emblem with the prongs. Here’s my model 3 without an emblem. I wonder if the hoods are interchangeable. I haven’t bothered to check.

Ys hood is longer but 3s hood wider, so they are not interchangeable.

Yup, they put prongs to make alignment easier and de-badging harder coz there'd be holes without the badge.

Decals for which?

The emblems (Tesla T) are not the same size, Y is slightly bigger.

Front fender cameras don't have Tesla logo embossed, just black plastic trim.

on a side note, have you bought any floormats for your MY yet? if so what would you recommend?

No aftermarket mats yet.
I'm waiting for Kagu Maxpider 3D - they were great and good fit for my 3 and Ex-X (totaled).
