Oh I’m sorry, if you have his personal number we can both call him, I didn’t realize you had his number already!

I’m not sure what you want... you’re complaining about build quality on a Tesla focused forum, to a bunch of other people who have bought Tesla’s and are here discussing a build quality issue and how to resolve it. I don’t see how we’re drinking the kool aid or part of a cult, you’re on the same forum as the rest of us friend.

Have a great weekend fellow Tesla owner!
The fact that you think going directly to the CEO for a problem that should be handled by a bottom of the ladder service employee speaks volumes about Tesla’s CS model and commitment to its customer base.

I’ll tell you what I want since it doesn’t seem clear to you for some reason: I want people like OP, or anyone who buys a $60K+ car, to not have to worry about dealing with issues like this and have a clear path to a resolution from the manufacturer. Tweeting the CEO to “fix it” is an embarrassing suggestion. How’s that?

Why are you so upset? Don't be, it's bad for your health. Also, why do you keep smashing that disagree button, you're hurting your fingers bud.

Funny thing about the CEO of this company, he's actual responded to tweets since that's what the world has come to. Not saying that's the best way or only way to raise an issue but he's famously done things after receiving a comment. I'm pretty sure most of the helpful posts in this thread have said something about talking to the service center about getting it fixed which will results in data going back to HQ. We already know that the people on the production line are getting told to stop letting bad construction get through the line, there's leaked emails about that.

I think we'd all love for a $60K vehicle to be flawless but anyone who's seen much of any news about Tesla should know there will at least a couple issues but also that those issues have been rectified. My own Model Y had issues that went back to the shop for fixing and now it's good to go.

If you're still upset, remember, we're here for you and are willing to help.

And hey man, have a great day!

Nice! What was your charging routine for the Vegas trip? Was it hard getting a charging spot in the casino parking garages?
Stayed the hell away from any Casino’s, no one wearing their masks, didn’t even take a ride down the strip. And because of the freaking 115 degrees we called our trip 2 days short and headed home. We were thinking of buying in Vegas but after that heat, forget about it.

As for your question, never had issues finding chargers in Vegas, when we arrive we head to the Vegas South (by the airport) Supercharger, it’s a nice mall with lots of restaurants, we stop and charge there and walk across to the Lazy Dog for good food. If we are very low then we hit the Linq which is the V3 chargers at 250kw but again that smack in the middle of the strip if you want to deal with some of that traffic. Lots of spots in Primm and of course 40 spots in Baker. 4th trip to Las Vegas and never had to wait.

As for Casino chargers, don’t rely on them, they are usually ICE’d and or L2 chargers if you can find 1 of only 4 stalls available.

Tip: At the MGM....if you go into the area where the Uber/Lyft section is located, there is 1 Free Tesla Wall Charger there.
