I'm excited to see the specs. I would love to get a Y if it was 6+ seats, but already having a LR Model 3, I can't see myself getting a LR Y. A LR Y makes more sense for family trips.

Lucky for you, Tesla slashed the price on all models including the X. It's still hella expensive though

If the Y is comparable in seating as a CX-5, RDX, CR-V, then I plan on adding in the future for sure. The 3 is a keeper.

The wings come with a lot of headaches. I currently live in a Condo and parking underground is a challenge as the wings won't fully go up as there are pipes in the way. Same thing for work as parking is underground. Even going downtown this past weekend, parking underground to charge is a headache with the doors. The doors are only amazing if you only open the doors outside.

Yeah going to wait for the market to get flooded with more CPOs and their prices adjusted accordingly. Don't think I'd go for a new X. I'll still put down my Y deposit.

Agreed. If a CPO model X prices come down to the same level as a new model Y, I rather get a model X. My son just love the falcon wing doors! (Hmm... me too...)

I imagine the base Y wouldn't be too much more than a base 3. 40K USD at most, fully loaded would be 100Kish.

Except you can't compare it to the base 3. The Y is likely to have dual motors standard, with at least a mid-range battery to compensate for the added weight. So the base Y would probably come just under the dual motor 3. Think 60K CAD and up.
