That could be a big problem. For the CHAdeMO installations, I believe Irving is offering the land, but NB Power and Ottawa are covering all the out of pocket expenses. Tesla now usually expects Supercharger hosts to chip in towards the construction or electricity costs and I have trouble seeing Irving do that. This is a company accustomed to taking handouts and avoiding paying its fair share.

I read the article and it made me sick. I really hope that Tesla does not make a deal to use these scum sucking parasites as hosts for the Superchargers.

Maybe this explains why it is taking so long to get the new SCs built in Canada. For the SCs that I have been to in places like Grimsby, Woodstock, Barrie and Huntsville I can't imagine who would be chipping in towards the costs.
