Remember 4 years ago in Ontario,Tesla did not have Model 3... but by the end of 2018, they will be in Canada and the scale of their uptake is going to be huge. That followed by Model Y and a pick-up!
As rypalmer said, the Maritimes are years behind Ontario. I'm from NS and have driven down multiple times since getting my Model S (though not as many as rypalmer). There are few Teslas there and few visitors in Teslas. Haligonians (the biggest population centre in the Maritimes) seem largely unaware of electric cars, despite Tesla's battery research partnership with Dalhousie. Monctonians seem even more oblivious.
I don't see any large adoption of EVs in the Maritimes for at least 5 years, sadly.
Obviously people drive to the Maritimes for many reasons, but a small supercharger station will easily handle that traffic.
