You should have a 12V Accessory "cigarette lighter socket" in the console. No ashtray, so no cigarette lighter.

This. I haven't seen an actual lighter in two decades. Thinking back to 2001 when I got one of the first WRX's to get to these shores, it came with an ashtray and a fake lighter pop in, lol.

Cigarette lighters haven’t been a standard thing for a good 20 years at this point.

My 2000 Mustang had a $15 “smokers package” option that included the actual lighter part for the 12v accessory port and a super chintzy ash tray that fit in one of the cup holders.
