My Model 3 Perf with 19" Forged Wheels

I wanted some really light forged wheels for my Model 3 Performance. Picked up these Gloss Black 19" VS Forged VS02 wheels. 19x9 in the front, 19x10 in the rear. They weigh only 44.53 lbs with the tires on! For comparison the stock Tesla 18"s without aero caps weigh 46.95 lbs with the tires on. Thanks to @Josh@GYW for the hook up!

Do you see any improvement on the range(KWH per mile) with these lighter wheels?

The weight of the wheels will not affect range in any significant way. It’s minimal rotational kinetic energy difference, and in any case most of the rotational energy is reclaimed during regen.

It’s tire compound & width, and aero effects (more width will also make aero worse) that are most significant for wheels.

Pick your tire carefully if you care about range!

I really like the look of the arachnid wheels, I'm going up to 20" matte black from TSportline. The TSportline is actually a lower quality heaver wheel than the VS02 but nobody makes a forged version that fits Model 3.
