Anyone on the forums install these yet? I see one review on their website from "Mo" and it looks damn good.

Not sure If I'm allowed to post the link but this is on their website from a customer review

Here is mine with those links that I just had installed last Friday... no issues with the Cheetah as well. Im running mark 10 on the rear which is about a 1 inch drop and 8 on the front which is close to 1 inch but short of it. This is the lowest onscreen set up but Im thinking of using the links to go lower and then run a higher onscreen set up so I have the option of going more lowwwww

vic55,

Absolutely love your car, color combo, drop, etc. Thanks for sharing pics-motivating me to aspire from my P90DL to a Plaid, sooner rather than later. Just need to get rid of the wife... 🤔

i cant tell you what to do for your new car but i have the whole N2itive kit on my car and they work amazing and i highly recommend them as a company. If they say it works on your car then I'd trust it. you can always email them with your questions.

Thanks for the kind words, @airborne spoon I appreciate your support! @vic55 Your S looks great! I think you have the ideal ride height.

Just installed the N2itive lowering links for the Plaid last week. Very high quality product. Installation is very straightforward. Fronts can be installed without wheel removal. Rears you can either remove the wheels OR put it on a lift and take off the undercover. Try to install them with the measurements facing outwards so they are easier to adjust later. You can feel more bumps in the road due to decreased suspension travel, but still feels very comfortable, and you can always raise the height setting to get more of a stock feel.

Here are some measurements for those who are looking to lower. The measurements are in inches from ground to highest point of wheel arch, and I took the average from both sides (as there is slight variance between the two sides when you change the suspension settings).

STOCK................Front....................Rear
Low....................28.5938"............28.4938"
Medium............+0.5000"...........+0.4750"
High...................+0.7813"...........+1.000"
Very High.........+0.3125"...........+0.0938"
(From lowest to highest setting front raises by +1.5625", rear raises by +1.5688")

LOWERED - setting at +6 mm on lowering links at all 4 corners
Low....................27.8750".............27.9375"
Medium...........+0.5000"............+0.3438"
High..................+0.7188"............+0.7813"
Very High........+0.6525"............+0.3125"
(From lowest to highest setting front raises by +1.8713", rear raises by +1.4375")

DIFFERENCE FROM STOCK TO LOWERED - same +6 mm setting
Low.................-0.7188"............-0.5563"
Medium..........-0.7188".............-0.6875"
High.................-0.7813"..............-0.9063"
Very High.......-0.4413" .............-0.6875"

So as you can see from the measurements, setting the lowering links to +6 mm lowers the car around 0.7" (18 mm) in the front and around 0.6" (14 mm) in the rear. This is slightly less than N2itive's website description, which stated that every +1 mm on the lowering link lowers the car around 5 mm. My measurements also seem consistent with @vic55 where he went to +8 front and +10 rear to get to 1 inch drop. The rear does seem to lower less than the front, so if you want an even wheel gap look, set the rear links a couple mm more than the fronts.

And now the photos:

I'll also add some before/after comparison photos when I get home.

Hey folks, Just thinking outside the box here...........why wouldn't the standard $93 Airmatic lowering links from 2012-2020 work here?

Quick research shows that the height sensor itself is the identical part number to the older models, just a different revision (1027941-00-B) - but it appears they can be used interchangeably, because this 2021 Plaid being parted on e-bay has sensors from 2017.... (see image below)

And I'd imagine, then that the mounting ball would be the same size too......

Since the N2itive ones show to be out of stock, why don't yall give these a try and see if they work identically? Worst case, they're returnable for free.....Nothing wrong with N2itive, their links look super nice, but I'm curious why the old version wouldn't work as well.

I'm just a peasant with a P90D, so I could be wrong, but worth checking in to....

@Aggmeister2010 It's because the links are a different length on the new Plaids. While the links are adjustable there just isn't enough range to compensate for that large of a distance. Even at the minimum length either the front or back would be slammed to the ground depending on where you put the longer links.

We're only about a month out now from having them in stock again. : )

Understood.

So, the cheapo Blox ones would likely work since they have a lot of length adjustment (unconfirmed, so someone would have to buy and validate)......but the advantage of N2itive is that they're precision made for the exact car rather than universal, and have super, super precise adjustments.

Also very interested to see what happens to the camber when you lower a plaid. On the old S's, they'd go crazy negative to the tune of -3 degrees....I'd imagine that's the same with the Plaid, since I don't think they aren't factory adjustable either in the rear.
