Efficient yes, practical no. IMO, you spent all this money on a car that has the ultra-convenient feature of preheating our cabin but you would rather suffer in the cold to save a few pennies? Doesn't make too much practical sense to me. Doubly so if you have TeslaFi and schedule your preheating during the Monday to Friday grind.

Respectfully, I never said anything about driving uncomfortably. From my preference/experience if I have the heated steering wheel and heated seats on I can have the climate set to 19 C and feel great. The wheel heats the inside of my hands, and the airflow heats the opposite side. Without the heated wheel I tend to need to set the air temperature 3-4 degrees higher to feel the same level of comfort. That's what I'm referring to when I talk about efficiency.

I'm beyond my days of driving EVs without the heat on, did that for years in the volt, but I have more than enough range for my needs in the 3. I only need to charge every 3-4 days in the winter, in the summer I'll probably only charge once/week.

I personal do not understand the want for a heated steering wheel, I have never had one that could be the reason why I don’t care for one but also I have never felt my fingers could benefit from one either.

You have to trust that "once you try it" as it is wonderful. Top of our list now.

I just tried it out and am quite impressed. Cant wait to test it out in heavier traffic.

Wow, drive it on 410 then 401 to supercharger in Sherway Garden.

It actually works quite well, though my heart is pumping as the M3 goes on ramp and off ramp. The car slows down in heavy traffic and advises me to change lane when safe to do so. Overall very impressed.

Will be a God send when we go on a road trip.

Just tried it here in Montréal on my P3D. I’m impressed too. Pretty darn stable when taking on and off ramps. Crossing my fingers that our MX will get the update prior to leaving for our holiday travels Monday.
