Yea, but from the same listing:

From the picture, you can see the car does have fog lights, which in 2013 were an option that required Tech package.

You guys are freaking me out. Do you think Tesla will set me straight on it? I've tried calling them the part yet days and the wait was over 30 minutes.

The descriptions are inconsistent - in the same listing it says 40KWh and 90KWh. It's probably a 90 and just some copy/paste but up to you as the buyer to get the bottom of it. Welcome to auction cars.

op: you need to buy a ticket Jersey and take a look at the car - if it's a 90 with unlimited supercharging for 35k, you will be happy. If there are shenanigans, the cost of the trip will be a smart investment

Where it says 40kWh battery, the heading for that section is "Standard Equipment." The 40 was standard (in early 2013), the 60 and 85 were upgrades.

It is almost assuredly an 85 (with unlimited supercharging) with the 90 kwh replacement as advertised. If not, you have grounds for full refund for an incorrect listing.

EDIT: Also I noticed where it read there's hard disk storage for media. Tesla actually never implemented this.

Okay, seems to be a lot of misinformation going on about how most car option lists get to eBay ads... and it's not just cars. Look at any standard looking listing for anything from a PS4 to a Galaxy Note 9. When you post an eBay auction, it takes the Title you enter and it attempts (based on some kind of eBay algorithm and other auction history) to generate a list of features. Sellers who don't know any better, or don't bother to confirm, just hit OK and move on.

I can't tell you how many inconsistencies I noticed when I was shopping for a Medium Duty Truck. You can always tell because of the separation of the "standard" template text and the users entries.

Example:
Sony PlayStation 4 Pro Gaming Console 1TB (CUH-7115B) Jet Black - READ - READ UD 711719513599 | eBay - Observe the section labeled "Product Details". The seller didn't enter that. eBay suggested all that text the seller just clicks OK and it adds it to the listing. Everything UNDER that section is what the seller actually entered.

I expect the car is as pictured. It's an 85 that got a 90 battery when the 85 battery went out and a replacement 85 wasn't available. Everything else has been pointed out. If it was that big of a deal, you probably should have asked more questions or taken a trip before bidding and especially before winning. As an infrequent seller on eBay, nothing irks me more when a high bidder starts asking questions about this or that AFTER they've won. That's like shooting first and asking questions later. That's not the way it works.

Bid first, ask second. That way you don't miss out on a good deal.

If you're concerned about the battery, have the seller turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and walk to the passengers side front wheel. There is a white label just visible on the battery pack behind the tire. Have him send you a picture of that label. It will give you a bunch of good information on battery pack revision, size and a serial number you can narrow down to a date.
