I finished all my email exchanges. I will be picking up at Fremont this sunday at 10:45! anyone else?
Yep. All my paperwork is done and I just got back from the credit union and have the check in hand. Delivery appointment is Sunday 4/29 early afternoon. From VIN to pickup at the Fremont "Delivery Hub" in 3 days. My DS called today and offered to bump me up to Sunday from Wed-Fri.

Final report on delivery of our super cool red ---- Delivery was outstanding, the process was efficient and a delight (good coffee as well)
Trade in of our Vette went like--- paper keys poof gone --- slick
Drove home and tried all of it's little tricks.
1. lane holding - great. only issues are when folks are merging from the right -- need to drive the car.
2. distance from car ahead- in autosteer - superb. traffic varied from 40 to 70 and good safe distance kept throughout.
3. left lane change with turn signal -- lost its mind. tried twice both times returned back to original lane with more gusto than I can stand.
need more practice to find why that did not work. 4 lane highway -- good lines-- no other cars My guess it liked the lane it was in and could see no reason to change :)
4. driving was stable and quick as the Vette
5. Navigation went as good as Apple maps.
Worth 2 years of waiting and what if it was 2x what I promised my wife it would cost (yikes) She loves it and now waiting for a calm morning for to get some quality driving time to play with all the gadgets

I am so glad you posted this! I was getting a little nervous bc it seemed like people were only having issues when they picked up their cars.

Did you ask for &/or get a factory tour? The VIN assignments are wonderfully obscure. I was a 3/31 line waiter, and configured white, aero, & EAP 4/10. I got the VIN 20,xxx last week. I will say that after two overly optimistic "You will get the car between the months X and Y", the March-May estimate is still looking pretty good.

I got my VIN last Thursday 5/10. Red/Aero. New England. Just got an email from my DSS (Direct Ship Specialist), but no specific delivery date yet. I need to decide to have it delivered to home or drive 3 hours each way across 4 states. Hmmmm.... Waiting to hear back which would be quicker. :)

Rent a car one way and enjoy the drive back in a nice M3. :) It would be a good test on the batteries and lots of time to learn the console. Plus less chances of the car getting scratched up as it is loaded and unloaded on trucks. You might even get it a day or two earlier by going to go get it. - Congrats!!! - I am still waiting for vin

Tesla offered to provide a car rental and a night at a hotel if I want to pick up at the delivery center. I'm waiting to hear back on possible delivery dates. It also happens that I am planning to be in that area next week and could pick it up on my way home, but I doubt that it will be ready in time for that.

what?! I wasn't offered a rental car or hotel. Then again I'm driving in my trade-in.

In Texas.
In-store (technically a showroom, not a store) reservation late in day on 3/31/16. No lines, but a 4 hour round trip drive after work...
Originally Jan-Mar delivery window, then Apr-Jun delivery window.
Invitation 4/10.
Configured 4/13.
"Delay-to-June" email on 5/20.
Email from Inside Sales Advisor in NV on 5/24 to start make arrangements
Delivery scheduled for 6/15 (earliest possible date was 6/12).
Vin 22,XXX

Our delivery was scheduled for tomorrow but got moved up to last Saturday! VIN 22xxx. Had the VIN before the delay letter went out. We love it, but it is now at the spa for front wrap and ceramic. The detailing was crappy in Decatur GA. Tape residue on the paint and glass. A couple of sanded areas that need correction.
