Shame this new widget for iOS 16 Lock Screen doesn’t display the battery percentage or car range.

The current range circle is kinda meaningless at the moment.

There’s a slightly bigger one too but it just adds the cars name which is pretty pointless.

Very underwhelming and flawed for anyone with more than one car as you can’t have a widget for each car or even the choice of what car you want

I think when you add the widget you can tap it at the editing stage and select your car.

At least the bigger one has %. Shame the smaller one doesn’t.

Watch for Tesla adds a more meaningful app for the locked iPhone screen

I think when you add the widget you can tap it at the editing stage and select your car.

Tried that but unfortunately that doesn’t work like it does with the old iOS widgets

It's working for me on iOS 16.1

I had to manually update the Tesla app by searching for it in the app store. I had used the app store updates but Tesla wasnt showing as requiring an update the manual search for 'Tesla' gave me the upate option

I think the poster is running a beta version of ios16.1 which is released on Monday to non Beta users. Wait until you update to iOS 16.1 and it should work.

I got to fixed, I deleted the Tesla app and reinstalled it, works now thanks for all the help

Mine wouldn’t work either - Google search recommended a few things but toggling between two languages worked for me. Very strange!
