New Model 3LR delivery mystery

We ordered a Highland M3LR the second week of January with a projected delivery date of Jan-Feb.

The delivery date has been extended several times and is now projected as late as May.

Delivery waits and reschedules aren’t a new thing for us, as we have had seven Teslas over the years and this will be our eighth one.

The part of the picture that confuses me is why a relatively early order like ours has moved out so much.

A new, comparable order is also shown as May now.

Does this indicate manufacturing or other problems?

What’s going on?

Any insights you have will be appreciated.

The demand for the new LR has exceeded their expectations especially in the US. The demand for the RWD Model 3 has not exceeded their expectations. They will catch the production up with demand but it will take awhile. If you need a car now then the RWD is the only Model 3 that will be available quickly or a any Model Y is available now with a significantly lower price.

New Refreshed Model 3 ordered! Waiting on Vin I ordered about an hour after they updated site yesterday. Around midnight. It initially said delivery date estimate Jan-Feb Now just about hour ago it updated to Feb-March Is anyone else still seeing Jan-Feb? Can’t wait
