Okay, it's time for me to come off the bench.
AP is released and seems good enough for my purposes. New hardware from the X doesn't seem like it's going to trickle down to the S in the foreseeable future, and rumors will always be rumors.
What's there now is good enough for me, and while I will of course regret it deeply if 8 cameras get installed in March or something, one could wait forever for the next big thing, so I'm going to pull the trigger.
Since money is definitely an object, and I'd like to spend an extra grand on accessories than lining Tesla's pockets, I'd like a referral code. I'd also like to help a local Texas person make their way up the leaderboard if any of the regulars here are trying to get to 10 or whatever (I know it's no car or even a powerful any more, but an invite to a launch event or tour still sounds like a lot of fun...)
