A recap of my stats: Ordered and Confirmed 4/22/14, Delivered 6/12/14, Came Home 6/16/14 (went straight from Tesla factory to detailer.) The car was paint corrected, Opticoat Pro was applied, an Xpel wrap on the front, rear and forward quarter-panels was applied, and another layer of Opticoat Pro applied over those surfaces.
Someone in the Q1 order thread wanted to see pictures of the Metallic Blue coupled with red brake calipers. My personal view of it is that it looks pretty sweet, but I'm biased. I decided to snap a few photos of the car parked at my house with some additional angles for anyone else currently 'Sourcing parts' who wants more Model S porn to salivate over.
Also, a note about the charger: This is a HPWC @ 80amps installed in the Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland. The house has a 4kw PV installation on the roof, so with around 300mi/wk of driving I'm hopeful to be more or less carbon neutral. I added my charger to Plugshare today so anyone traveling through town that wants some juice can feel free to look me up there or message me here on the forum. Happy to help out another zealot...er, believer.
So very, very excited to have a long commute on I-880 tomorrow. Never in my life would I imagine saying that before!
