It is all relative - and depends on the expectation. Leaf 0-30 is faster than most family cars of its size and that is what I guess reviews are comparing to.Some reviews claim that the Leaf offers impressive acceleration... To me it feels like it has a "sweet spot" between about 20 and 40MPH where it "scoots along" better than one might expect given a quiet sedan of this nature. Outside of that 20-40 window it seems just adequate to blend with routine traffic.
...The idea I had in mind was for RV drivers pulling their {EV} behind their RV on a long trip. It seems using Regen between stops could allow you to always have a full {EV} when you stop somewhere...
Right. The Leaf can't do much better than the 13 Amps most of those charge points provide, so it's like they're made for each other. As to why it costs 5000 pounds for a charge point that only gives 13A, that's another issue altogether....presumably that's how long it'll take to get a decent charge
Still, better than nothing.
Boris allows free Level 1...
In the UK, that would make it Level 2. Level 1 = 100-120 volts, Level 2 = 200-240 volts.
Yeah, I was kind-of thinking that.In the UK, that would make it Level 2. Level 1 = 100-120 volts, Level 2 = 200-240 volts.
...
AC Level 1: 120 V, 1 phase, up to 16 A
AC Level 2: 240 V, 1 phase, up to 80 A
