No SMS, iMessage display on Tesla Infotainment system?

Nope. Apparently it's "too dangerous"....that's what the rabid tesla fanboys will clobber you with if you complain too much about it. Many threads on the main pages where people get all worked up about this on both sides.

My counter argument to that is simple:

I can't have the car read a text message because I should be paying attention to the road....yet I can read a website in the browser...rrrriiiiggghhht

I think Tesla has a bias against adding that function to the UI. *shrug*

It’d be nice to have, but I’m not about to badger Tesla to add it, because I don’t see it as being that needed.
