November 10 Price Changes Get Refund?

I am in a similar situation. Picked up a car from inventory on 11/8 and price changes showed up on 11/10. My $2500 order deposit went on a credit card and I can dispute this charge since I could argue that Tesla did not deal in good faith as price changes were no doubt known internally AND I am not getting any call backs from Tesla.

What are your thoughts about the order deposit dispute as a way to get the discount?

My order advisor submit a case to do a price adjustment. It came back declined :-(

This is what she wrote: "I looked more into your account and I am unable to get an adjustment for you. When you placed your order you are subject to the price at the time of order. We no longer offer the Metallic Silver color, nor do we offer the black headliner or the carbon fiber. Thankfully you got a car that matches your exact configuration! I am so excited for you to take delivery of your Model X on Nov. 20"

That's bad. probably will happen to many of us.
 
this whole thing has a bad taste to it. Now on Tesla site says if you order by 30 Nov they will expedite the shipping to insure you get the 7,500.00 tax credit.My X is to be delivered on 26 Nov and still have not a response from Delivery specialist about the price reduction. My configuration is still available with their new limited options.

If the price reduction was to encourage orders for when the tax credit is reduced to 3,750 why did do it now rather than to wait until delivery window for this year was closed.
 
It’s been a week since the price changes. Surely at least a hundred MX’s have been delivered around the country in the past week. Has anyone received the new pricing on a previously ordered MX? Please let us know details if so.

While I have been advised over phone (18###) that there was an internal memo sent which advices Tesla employees to honor the price difference my delivery advisor has not agreed and says she is researching/asking etc. Later she pushed the issue to my SA and my SA left me a VM while I am traveling to South Africa, I called back 3 times but no answer. I emailed and still waiting ..... They are so ambigious.
 
I ordered my S100D yesterday at a Belgian Tesla store and asked this question to the sales guy who sold me the car. He replied that in Belgium, there will be no refunds when an order was placed before november 10th. Over here there is a contract signed by sales person and buyer, I have read that contract carefully, you do commit that you will loose the 4000EUR down payment for any work they already have done in order to prepare your delivery. Mine said that I do agree that the 4000EUR is an equivalent to the work already done by Tesla. If you still have doubts, read your contract carefully, perhaps it is different in other country's.
 
Tesla Support US 1800# had confirmed it and also indicated that they reached out to my SA as well as Sales Manager who would contact me.

Please please reach out to us and let us know. My MX will be here in about 2 weeks and so far no luck on getting anyone to commit to the new pricing.

Advice so far has been to find or order another one at 3,800 less so someone else gets the privilege of buying mine for 3,800 less. ‍♂️

Okay wow. Great news! So here’s the kicker for sixty and Bigship2 obviously you ordered before they ended lifetime free supercharging like I did.. I was also a 9/16 order... will you both be keeping that option as well??

Sixty if you go into your order and hit manage then specs, can you see the price adjustment there? Or anywhere else?

We ordered 6 seats + console + carbon fiber. Our OA is saying “that’s not available anymore so you’re lucky you got it, sorry about the price change on the premium interior.”

All of my options are still available. I didn't opt for carbon fiber and I have white premium interior.

That’s really awesome news! I wonder if they will update anything online that you can actually verify that this was done. Maybe in documents?

What part of the country are you in and what does your vehicle status show currently? Assuming in transit like mine? Delivery date?
