I have a question and hopefully some of you can provide suggestion.

If I contact my SA to add Tow to the existing order, how much earlier will be the EDD?

Any comments would be appreciated.

if there is a shortage of parts. It will not speed up your EDD.

I believe. You can add tow after for $1300. Yes it’s 300 more than now. But it will be less to finance and pay taxes on. I think you buy the tow package and installation is included. I could be wrong. If I am. Let me know. Because I’m considering this option.

You and I are in the same boat with similar configs and order dates... I kinda like the lack of drama from shifts. I'm still at 6/1-6/29 too.

... but our house also had a charger installed when we bought it and I have spent exactly $0 on accessories so not a huge deal.

Same. MYLR 5 Blue (DC area). EDD just narrowed a bit from May 21-June 18 to May 28-June 11.

I will try to contact my SA today either way, just to ask for options, in order to get the car earlier. I am not particularly needing the Tow.

Update: My communication with my SA. Bottom line, don't change, wait and be patient.

You are in CA, the other 2 I have seen here with the same EDD are in TX

Got a text from Tesla... delivery appt pushed from Monday to Friday. Can't say I'm surprised, I was almost expecting it.

Looked like some in the October and September threads were speculating 7seats and/or tow was causing delays.

7 seats, tow, and MSM combined represent the inescapable black hole of Tesla. Only by dropping one of the three, and adding FSD, does one stand a chance (allbit a small chance) of escaping never-ending EDD changes and ever getting a VIN.
