Octopus app sync with ohme app

Hi everyone how can I get my ohme charger app to communicate with my octopus energy app when it produces a charging schedule after I plug in? Every time I plug in and my octopus app generates a charging schedule it comes up unable to establish a connection and my car doesn't start to charge? I have to switch the price cap off and everything in the ohme app for it to start charging, surely this isn't right?
