$14,000 is the maximum payable under the EHVIP. $10,000 for the price, $3,000 for the battery size and $1,000 for 5 seats.
EVCIP is up to $500 for 50% of the wall charger cost and up to $500 for 50% of the WC installation/inspection cost.

Finally got my check on Friday. I never received any prior “it’s coming email” - wondering if those were only sent to people who had the direct deposit option checked. I did not.

Definitely not FIFO. My friend who submitted on June 8th has received the cheque in the mail without any contact to MTO or Ombudsman. While I’m still waiting from a June 7th submission.

I just received my check in the mail too. Submitted on June 7, no approval emails. So for those still waiting, just keep checking your letterbox because they do not always send you an approval email anymore.

Wow I didn't buy until Sept 10th so at this rate of just over 6 months of processing probably looking at April if I'm lucky

Good news! I just got an email saying my application was approved and I submitted on June 20th.

Got charger rebate which was submitted on June 16

However, I think it will speed up from here. You see, the last one is June 20 or so. I think they are picking up speed.

I believe the bulk of applications are in June when Tesla shifted the delivery to Canada to avoid reaching the US milestone. Remember, it got cancelled in July, and there was a slow down from July to Sep as Ontario said Tesla buyers were not eligible.

Having said that, I expect we will monitor the situation until at least April. May be they are aiming for March lol

Hey I'm going to be honest with you but I doubt that's the case. I know I applied June 20th but I was emailing them back and forth questioning my position in their "queue". Finally the guy replied back saying my application is now under review. So either he expedited my email or I don’t know because some people from June 4th never even got an email yet.
