We got our car last week and were quickly able to pair our Android phones with the car, however I noticed that the Contacts and Recent Calls were not syncing up.
Turns out I missed an important step during the set up process where I did not "authorize" to connect the phone book of my phone with the car (see image).
If you found yourself in this situation:
1. Remove phone from car's list of phones
2. Unpair the car from the phone
3. Again; add the phone (ensure the phone is visible to nearby Bluetooth devices) and follow the instructions on phone
4. Be sure to Accept (always) the connection to the phone book
5. You should be good to go after a few minutes
