PEI 5K electric vehicle incentive?

Will Tesla's qualify for the $5K rebate? Two articles I've read say "if purchased from island dealership". Seems like a big snub of the market leader if this is the case.

The free level 2 charger is a nice little bonus too

No, new Tesla purchases will not qualify unfortunately, although the plan is apparently to include them later on. We'll see if that actually happens.
