Pem Fan.....why not use PEM output to power relay?

Use the PEM outlet to trigger a relay which draws very little amps and have the actual power source come from outside the PEM. Would the low amp draw from PEM cause errors? Is the 2010+ fan 12v or 24v?

It would certainly take care of the connector issue.

That idea has merit, but it would mean that the PEM would not be able to detect problems with the fan (based on current).

I think you need a barlast to fake the fan
And the fan use diffrent speed depding on conditions
