I just got a text message or 20 from my "Tesla Advisor" from out of state and I got a smoking deal on a P3D. I can't believe I actually took the plunge and put down a deposit. It feels like a dream...surreal!!

This deal would not have lasted minutes if I didn't jump on it! The deals are there! Just keep looking and be patient. You'll get what you are looking for for the price you want! I've been looking for months and finally found that unicorn deal!

Update!

So I was supposed to take delivery today. Delivery was pushed back until Tuesday May 28 because of "Logistics". Received a call from my Orientation Specialist from North Houston Service Center today, the car I bought was never supposed to be sold and cannot be sold to me. He found me the exact same car in Cali with 60000 newer VIN. Turns out it is a 2019 instead of a 2018. It does have 800 more miles, but I told him and he agreed that I definitely will be compensated for having additional miles and for the delay of delivery. They are putting a rush on shipping and should be delivered late next week. Maybe this will all be for the best! Staying optimistic!

Yes and I am supposed to be additionally compensated for the extra miles and delay on shipping.

Great deal but 800-1000 miles is basically a “used car”. Check the condition when you take delivery.

Yes it has been completed. Not sure, but I probably won't find out until after the holiday weekend. Maybe I'll get back part of my deposit or a free HPWC. Who knows? My Orientation Specialist said he was going to talk to his manager asap about getting compensated.

Your price is definitely killed me, they literally give out FSD + everything in between for free to the customer who didn't buy the car and they treat all those existing customers like SXXT.

I’ll guess shop from inventory in the future and hunt for deals. MSRP drops aside they aren’t much different than a regular mass market dealer these days with regard to pricing, assuming you don’t want one close to launch.

Exactly, I was pretty much tricked by Tesla Salesman to get a Inventory SR+ with 0 discount (Might be experience is different from Canada vs US in this case). Owning a Tesla is awesome experience but the experience from buying a Tesla is all out nightmare for me.
