Ordered MSM/white P3D FSD on 9/9/19, found VIN in source code 9/16/19, then received text today saying "Your Model 3 is in transit and ready to be scheduled! Select an available delivery appointment time now at tesla.com/schedule/RN10957XXX If you have not selected an appointment by tonight, we will assign and notify you of your delivery appointment. A Tesla representative will reach out to confirm your appointment before your delivery day."

Unfortunately, when I go to reserve it only gives me an option for delivery on 9/19/19 or 9/20/19. I'm out of town for work until the 9/26/2019

Hi,
FYI, ordered my Model 3 Performance / black/ black no FSD on august 30, with a planned delivery in September..(This is for Switzerland.).

As per Tesla delivery person I had on the phone yesterday, there are little chances it will be september, most probably October.
He told me Perf. Models are produced in less volume than the otehr cars, although there is a great demand for them.

I keep hope though :)

FWIW, I ordered my M3P Red / White in Switzerland on August 16th. I was told that in worst case it should be delivered by November. We probably missed the EU production of Performance cars, and now Tesla is focused on the US market now.

This means we will get the pedestrian alert system.

If they switch to EU production by end of this month, I think end of October / beginning of November sounds reasonable. I hope that I can take it on some mountain passes before the summer is over :)

It's here! Delivery went great only small issue, had a fogged up rear taillight that they replaced on the spot. We asked the delivery specialist about the 2yr free supercharging and was told it's added but will need to get management approval.

Hang in there for those who are waiting.. it's well worth it!

Give 'em a call, I'm sure they'll work something out with you. Definitely something to look forward to when you get back from your business trip! Congratulations!

TESLA MODEL 3 DELIVERY REVIEW

I took delivery of my Model 3 today. I've been grateful for the updates on this forum, so I thought I'd share my experience. To recap -

Aug. 8 (DAY 0) - ordered online - Model 3 Performance, White/White, Premium Upgrade - estimated delivery "2 weeks"
Aug. 24 (DAY 16) - got a text - "please expect another 3-4 weeks before we reach out to you for delivery"
Sep. 8 (DAY 31) - got a text - "ready to be scheduled!" - scheduled delivery for Sep. 17 - saw VIN in source code
Sep. 14 (DAY 37) - got a phone call to confirm my delivery on Sep. 17
Sep. 17 (DAY 40) - received delivery at the Tesla Service Center in Roswell, GA

I arrived at the Tesla center for my 10am appointment, and found a lot absolutely packed with new Model 3s - at least 100, maybe 200 or more. A beautiful sight to see.

I may have been the first new owner to arrive today. There wasn't another soul around in the delivery area, which was surprisingly spartan and dirty. After a few minutes, an employee came out, confirmed my name, and then got my paperwork - a fairly light stack, including a final price sheet, something about state title/registration, and 1 or 2 other docs. No one asked for my proof of insurance or driver's license - I guess what I'd previously submitted online was sufficient. My delivery specialist (who had been emailing me) then came out, and I mentioned that I'd seen offers online for 2,000 free Supercharger miles and/or a free premium upgrade. At first, I got the "we have no idea what you're talking about" look. Then the specialist went in the back, came back out, and said they'd already "put in a case" for my Supercharger miles, and even acknowledged it was "for waiting since Aug. 8 for delivery." He also said the free premium upgrades were only available to buyers who hadn't yet received a VIN. I didn't argue the point, and then wrote a personal check for the balance owed, and signed all the paperwork. I forgot to ask for copies, and went home with literally zero paperwork. (I assume I'll get something in mail or email eventually.)

Then my delivery specialist showed me outside to the car.

My Model 3 was the first car parked in a lengthy line of new Model 3s that looked to be arranged for pickup. I was shown a few very basic points, i.e. how to use a card key to open the car, how to use the Tesla app on my phone to open the trunk, how to open the glove box, and so on. Maybe 5 minutes' worth (I didn't ask any questions or prolong the "tour"). It was really exciting to open the Tesla app actually see functionality, instead of just the videos! At this point it was about 10:15am. I then had all the time in the world to carefully inspect the car, using a checklist I'd found online. Truly, the car is gorgeous - I couldn't find a single thing wrong with it! I left the service center at 10:30am, about 30 minutes after I'd arrived. I didn't notice any other customers arriving during that time, although it's possible 1 or 2 others arrived while I was doing my inspection. Certainly not a stampede of us.

Naturally, the drive home was spent experimenting with the 0-60 acceleration, getting used to regenerative braking, waiting for cruise control & autopilot calibration to complete (took about 45 minutes of driving), exploring all the menus and experimenting with the options, and generally having a good ol' time.

When my wife drove me back to the Tesla center about an hour later to pick up our other car, I saw at least 3 car carriers arriving, filled with new Model 3s. Not sure where they'll put them - the lot already seemed full! Seems like Model 3s as far as the eye can see.

Thanks to all who have posted such helpful info to this forum. I've made my final spreadsheet update, and I'm off now to hopefully more interesting forums for Tesla owners!

Honestly, who would have thought that white interior would get delivered not just first, but so far ahead of anyone who chose black interior? I'm having strong doubts of any white on black getting delivered before the end of the month (minus a few randoms that have already happened).

sounds about right. Ordered 8/11 and still have not received anything from the text,
Whereas all of the local people who ordered W/W car received updated text and VIN already popped in Manage page.
