I spoke to a Tesla Corporate delivery specialist this morning, not the typical local Tesla contact. She said that the rest of this week and next, they will assign a very high amount of VINs and that they are trying very hard to fulfill the orders that are expecting their cars before end of year.
Thats good news.. Cant believe you dont have a VIN yet :( Not getting much info from the locals?

Northern Virginia here with 2020 P3D+ with FSD ordered, among other things...

I want to point out to all these CA people whining about being last...Im over here in NC, ordered back in september and my car is still sitting waiting for a train in CA. And I have to watch everyone around me, even at my local tesla picking up their performances, ordered as recently as december.

Okay while we wait is this Tesla replacing another car or just an add on. It will be replacing my 2012 Infiniti g37xs that I purchased in New Jersey back in Oct of 2011, this Tesla better be worth it, I love this car! How about you?
Replacing a 2010 Hyundai Genesis coupe bought in March 2010. Going to be sad saying goodbye it's a great car :(

Replacing a 2016 Challenger Hellcat. Not going to miss buying tires every year or spending $50 in gas every three days lol. I'm so pumped to get this Tesla - way more excited than I was before I bought the hellcat!

The first one replaced a 2018 Expedition that was costing me $500 a month in gas.
The one I am now waiting for is replacing a 2014 E63 wagon. I’m sad to see it go, but I am trying to avoid a $10K repair bill that I’m sure in on the way. Car is fine, but you never know.

I’m doing a daily rental car...

just in case, I’m considering my back up options:

Replacing a Ford Explorer. For the past 10 years I never really cared what I drove. I would just lease any inexpensive Ford they had on the lot cause I got the employee discount through family. This Model 3 has got me excited in ways few products ever have, especially cars.

Replacing a 2007 335i Sport. Loved that car, bought it with 43k miles and it put a smile on my face every time I drove till it got totaled (someone hit me from behind) at a little less than 170k miles. I won’t miss the maintenance and gas cost, but it was sexy as hell and pure bliss to drive!

"Got me excited in ways few products ever have." Yup! Doug DeMuro in his review puts it best at 30:32 "Well this doesn't suck at all!"
