Dashcam recorded but the moment of the crash is missing.

I know this is an old thread, but the answer isn't provided. I was in a similar situation where before, during, and after a car collission, the dashcam videos (front, sides, back) weren't found on my USB flash drive. I did a deep search & recovery on the flash drive and found nothing. It turns...

Definitely spot on. TSLA just took a 2% dump after it was confirmed that Twitter accepted Elon's offer.

Looks like the market makers trapped FOMO buyers today and dragging it down. I'm glad that I sold some of the shares I bought on margin a couple of months ago for some profit and to get ready to buy back in at a lower price than what I sold today. Next up is end of quarter production numbers...

    TeslaMate [megathread]

Just to put this out there in case someone is wondering how long an update of Teslamate 1.25.0 to Teslamate 1.26.1 takes on Google Cloud Platform: it took about 75 minutes (1 hour and 15 mins.) to complete the update. The virtual machine instance is running on e2-micro machine type, Intel...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Guidance is generally 50% YoY. It's still the speculation that launches the stock based on some response given by Tesla folks. Elon's words moved the market the most during the conference calls. There's also manipulation that gone wrong where shorts need to cover, and that would launch the stock...

If you're referring to the stock prior to the earnings release, it's all about speculation. But do note that your current question changed the original situation of once an earnings is released, how would the stock move. That is, your question changed the timeline of reference. If I...

That's not what happened yesterday. I was observing how MSFT stock was reacting to their earnings release. As soon as Microsoft released good earnings beat, but absent of any guidance according to CNBC, the stock dropped. MSFT recovered to green once conference call got underway and provided...

FSD (city street) would really need to be reliable, but I don't see that happening this year after seeing how FSD Beta 10.x has iterated. I'm guessing once we hit FSD Beta v11, that will probably remain in development for the remainder of this year. FSD on v12 might be when we can get our hopes...

Thanks for the update on your view. My opinion is that it was 1/20/2022 that was the second day because QQQ (Nasdaq) dipped below the 200 day SMA, while SPY (S&P500) dipped below 150 day SMA. 1/20's bounce was premature in hindsight. I bought in thinking that was the buying opportunity. Current...

The day's low for TSLA is $995.50 so far, so it definitely broke below $1,000. Now, if you're referring to closing time in order to classify as it breaking below $1,000, yeah, that's something different.

I think you need to adjust what makes the stock goes up over time. Earnings beat is one thing. But don't you ever see an earning beat headline, but also see that the stock dropped in the same news report? Elon and the Tesla team better have good future guidance in order for TSLA to go to the...

To those who are wondering what's going on lately, @tivoboy has warned about impending drop in stocks, and I sided with tivoboy on this. I was starting to get impatient with the predicted drop of TSLA into the $900's, but it finally did today. But it still hasn't dropped enough for me to really...

Here's L2 from Merrill Edge (prices move quick, so this was accurate moments ago): There's currently no sell wall. So I think market makers are letting this run wild for the time being. Largest sell orders are at $1200 at a size of 400. Update: and just like that... >1000 size for $1110 sell.

Thanks. Just playing the game, not hating the player. That's why I'm holding core TSLA shares that I haven't touched for a long time (they're long term) and utilizing some swing trade money to earn some extra income for short term. As for wins and losses in swing trading, yeah, can't avoid...

Sorry if I wasn't being clear: bag holding on short term trades (yes, I'm stretching the term). Trying to avoid turning short term trades into months of holding until at least break even or profit.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

It's an art of guessing where the market maker is aiming for. Evidently from the stock charts, it is dynamic. So either we go with the flow or bag holding with inexperience.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I might be wrong and you would be right. For me, I see that there's definitely manipulation with TSLA and I'm going to go along with it and try to profit from it rather than HODL. Other tech stocks got hammered down and I don't want to get caught up with the down trend similar to last year. I'm...

I am also on the same side as you are. It looks like it was a dead bounce yesterday. I bailed out on my short term buys on TSLA when I saw the chance in aftermarket yesterday for a small profit. I'm now waiting TSLA for sub $1k, preferably sub $900 if it ever makes it there from now until...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Wished I saw this clearer before buying some at slightly above $1050 on average. I was hoping for a higher bounce today to unload some and rebuy, but the stock never went past $1080. I'm holding out to buy more when it bottoms out, looking at around $900-$940ish before it tries to reverse before...

If timing is right, it would be optimal, especially for those who bought on margin. I for one fall in that camp. I unloaded all my margin TSLA shares earlier today for a decent profit and plan to buy back in later at a discount. The margin loan eats into the gains if holding the large amount of...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

It looks like I was good on guessing the price range for TSLA today, but wrong about the closing. I thought they would drag this down to $585 to avoid the massive lot of calls, but looks like someone or somebody wanted it to go the opposite way towards $600. Wasn't what I was expecting according...
  47. H

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

My expectation is that it'll struggle to get to $600 and probably get dragged down to kill options. There's so many $600 calls that market makers would probably prefer to make them expire worthless. My guess would be in a trading range of $585-$600 with no fundamental news for today.
