Phone charging missing?

My Model S had a lightning adapter built into the center console but I just noticed my new Model X has nothing. I recall that was something that was supposed to be there, did Tesla change something or do I need to complain to Tesla about it?

Well I have that as part of a new Model X build since they all do now... Sounds like I need to talk to the mother ship again... I'll add it to the list...

If you have the flippy door with a small hole at the bottom you are just missing the side rails and cables. We got a USB mini and a lightning cable with our car that came in a bag in the glovebox although the DS showed it to us and offered to install it.

We don't use the brackets or route the cables through the hole because we have to swap cables between our two types of phones. Also the connectors/brackets won't work with most cases. They may have changed this but looking at how the phones sits in the Model 3 holder I doubt it.

I also don't like the angle that the phone sits in the Model X so I just plug in the short cable and let it sit in the tray.

I thought the phone dock was included with the P models but had to be purchased separately from the shop for others: Model S/X Quick Connection Phone Dock

But I don't see any of that referenced on the site now.

I'll also add it to my "fixes" list for the first service center appointment.

My phone charging equipment and cables were located in a small cardboard box in the glove box.

My X 100D delivered at the end of March 2018 did not come with it. I purchased it at a Service Center and installed it myself. I ordered all of the Premium features including FSD. Basically everything but the "P".

I just picked up my MX today and did not see a phone charger built in. I'm confuse now. Does it come with it or does it not? I haven't checked my glove box yet though.

Mine was delivered end of August and does not have it, nothing in the glove box either.

My MX P didn't come with it, I had to buy it and install it myself (it's cheap and easy). I think it would be strange if it came preinstalled, since they don't know what kind of phone you have.

Got p100d "with everything" recently, but phone charger isn't a part of the package, you need to order it separately.
I wouldn't recommend it though, that holder is a bit gimmicky and I don't like it on my S.

I installed a wireless charger instead - it's a way more useful thing.

Which one did you get? There is an iPhone and Android version available so just curious what may have come "standard".

The adapter, if I recall correctly, had at least two different sizes...and I got an iPhone and mini-USB cable with the adapter. I had to separately purchase a USB-C cable, as that's what I needed with my pixel.
