Photographers: How do I get the lights to stay on for photos?

I accidentally found a solution to the OP's question. Yes there is a way.

While you are in Park, select the parking light option in the touch screen to turn only the parking light on.
Now get out of the front passenger door then close it. Voila ... the parking light stays on :scared:.

Correct! You beat me to it! I also posted this (on another post) as my trick for leaving the radio on (which I use to listen to music when washing my car at home).

Didn't someone say you can simply put the car in neutral and manually engage the parking brake via the touchscreen to keep the lights on?

I am pretty sure this is what I did when I took pics of my car with the lights on. I took DRL lights, and HID lights on pics.
