One night of snowfall had me digging over an hour to get out!
I spent an extra 20 mins just digging around the front to free the front bumper from the encrusted snow.. many front bumpers have been liberated in this parking lot. I left snow on the roof and hood for extra traction getting out.. couldn’t leave snow on the back cause my shovel was in the trunk.
With all the de-chroming going on, I wanted to post of pic of me adding more chrome! I like chrome, especially against the red. Just added the RPM Tesla plain chrome strip (not the sticker, but the metal one), and their Model 3 emblem.
Fairly easy. Hardest part was making sure the emblems are stuck right the first try. Practice first - to make sure there the parts align with proportional space between them.
Also, it involves drilling a small hole - about 5 mm. Easily done through thin metal body.
Removing and reinstalling the trunk lid panel is easy too - they provide clips, to replace any one you break.
Watch the install video to make more sense of what I am talking about.
Updated pics with my chrome delete and puddle lights from Abstract Ocean. I also changed the footwell lights to blue and swapped out the trunk/glovebox lights (Abstract Ocean as well).
