You can keep moving the goal posts so satisfaction is never achieved. Someone in the X forum busted out the paint depth sensor as one of the justifications to initiate a buyback.

I sincerely recommend, without animus, that you purchase something other than a Tesla. If you are looking for perfection, you will never be happy with a Tesla. I wish you success in finding a perfect vehicle for personal conveyance.
Thought i posted a reply 1 hr ago. Maybe went pm. This is from my phone. Went great. “Royal” was very patient and helpful. 38 minutes, 10 for tesla trying to tract down why eap not installed. Still has not shown up. I think my edit button id still active. So much fun to drive. Was driving until 9:30 last night. Fantastic fun car.
Fantastic. Us prior owners knew the 15 minute “limit” thing was a suggestion and not to be taken overly seriously.
Tesla is super disorganized but I think they try to take care of their customers and of course are worth the hassle.
@Donskipton glad went well for you ..this thread provided much entertainment last few days ...safe driving and enjoy the 3 !

They often don't fix the cars accepted and paid by customers right away, but they often fix the cars not accepted and not paid by customers pretty fast. Bring a cashier's check for the amount owed if you plan on not taking delivery for defects, so that way you can withhold giving them the cashier's check.
Withholding payment won't work everywhere. In Texas we're having to pay 100% before they even ship the vehicle (or at least, that's what we're being told...) - supposedly due to the shenanigans required to sell cars "in" Texas.
It took about 32 minutes for our appointment in Rocklin, CA. The only thing I found during the inspection was for them to remove some adhesive which was still on about an inch of trim around the rear passenger side window. With 108 cars coming in daily at that time it was quite busy there. It may have been why I felt they were going quickly during the "training" portion of the delivery. M3 has been working great since then and I love driving it! Schedule your appointment and take the time you need. What are they going to do, reschedule after 15 minutes is up and have you come back later to finish signing? I doubt it. Let us know how it goes.

Just for stats. I was just called about my Delivery for this Saturday. They said it will be about 15 to 20 minutes as they wanted to let me get out and enjoy the new toy. But I didnt feel like it would be an issue if I wanted to stay longer if needed.
