I am. I think the steering wheel looks fantastic, and beefy.
Would I have liked to have a HUD? Yes. If anyone wants to wait for that they can. My guess that will be released about the time the 500k backlog of orders is depleted.

finally saw my first model 3 with my own eyes! red with no plates and detailed, definitely a production car, driving away from factory on kato. probably going to their new delivery center on kato. it looked amazing, lines are out of this world. it's real everyone!!! no pics since it passed me by really fast

To me this car looks way better than Model S. Not sure why, novelty? Reminds me of a Porsche somehow. The interior side pockets are a welcome addition, as is the suede/Alcantara in the doors.
I think the steering wheel is truly heinous. Especially in light of the fact that Model S/X steering wheel is so nice. On that note, is there any info on whether a subzero package (or at least heated steering wheel) will be available. I also wish the alpha nose and 20" wheels had made it to production, but overall it looks very nice. As always though, you have to see it in person to really make up your mind. I'm guessing we east coasters will be waiting a while to actually see one. If the M3 75D is quicker than my MS 70D and trunk space is reasonably good, I'll probably trade in the S.
So, does anyone know what the differences are between the M3 drive units and the new drive units in the base S? Tried searching here and the googles, but can't seem to find any good info.
