Plaid in Snow/Ice Challenging

The combination of no all weather/snow tires available in my area and the inability to reduce/turn off regenerative braking makes the Plaid a challenge to drive safely in icy conditions. In addition can't wait to get the horn relocated to the airbag center of the wheel.

This isn't a problem unique to Tesla or the Plaid. Driving with summer tires in the snow is a bad idea whatever car. I was caught out a couple of times in my old WRX and it was lethal.

You can maybe mail-order winter tyres?

Doesn't Plaid have this feature from SR3?

I swapped my 2021 MS LR’ PZero to Conti all seasons. I just took it to Tahoe. Decent amount of snow and ice. Car performed perfectly as expected.
